August 2009 war es endlich so weit: Mit „I Look To You“ veröffentlichte die legendäre Sängerin ein neues Album. Die Erwartungshaltung und Vorfreude war groß und dementsprechen schoss das Album weltweit auf Platz 1 der Musikcharts.

Seit der Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums „Whitney Houston“ im Jahre 1985 verkaufte Whitney Houston weltweit mehr als 170 Millionen Alben, Singles und Videos. Das „Guiness Book Of World Records“ führt sie als Künstlerin mit den meisten Auszeichnungen in der Musikgeschichte: Insgesamt kommt sie auf 411 Awards, darunter sechs Grammys, zwei Emmys und 16 Billboard Music Awards.
